The best baby toys 0-6 months
Anything to keep a baby entertained I am all about. Paxton loved these toys when he was a baby and now Hadley is loving them just as much.
Tummy time play mats - you don't NEED multiple play mats. However, we were gifted with multiple and have one in 3 different rooms and it is honestly helpful to be able to set Hadley down to play in each room if I need to do something. If you set them down on their backs to play I recommend getting this pillow to prevent them from getting a flat head! She loves her water sensory mat! It keeps them so entertained during tummy time.
Sit/stand toys- These toys are great to help them practice sitting and standing (obviously) but they are also great for when you want to set your baby down while you cook, clean, or workout. I also love how portable they are. We bring them outside! Or even use the sit toys as a highchair replacement when we travel. I love this particular jumper toy because it is over the door and lightweight compared to other jumpers that take up so much space.
Crinkle books- Rattles are great entertainers but I prefer crinkle books. It exposes them to books, sensory sounds, colors and patters so much more than rattles in my opinion! I love the ones with popular stories or the black and white contrast books that are good for newborn development!
Teethers- These are a must. A teething baby makes for a stressed out mama (at least for me). I hate how they are in pain and giving them something to ease that pain makes me feel so much better. The Sophie teether is such a great gift option because it is on the more expensive side but it is a great collection item!
